Privacy and Personal Data Processing Policy

1. General Provisions

1.1. This Privacy and Personal Data Processing Policy (“Policy”) describes how personal data of users of https://foliodeck.pro (“Website”) is collected, processed, stored, protected, and deleted.

Hereinafter referred to as the “Operator”.

1.3. This Policy is governed by Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data” dated July 27, 2006, and other applicable laws of the Russian Federation concerning personal data protection.

1.4. This Policy applies to personal data received by the Operator through the Website, including data submitted when applying to have a portfolio featured on foliodeck.

2. Personal Data We Process

2.1. When submitting a portfolio, the Operator may process the following personal data:

  • name;
  • email address;
  • Telegram or LinkedIn contact;
  • professional specialization;
  • portfolio URL;
  • other information voluntarily provided by the user through the submission form.

2.2. The Website may also process technical information necessary for the operation and security of the Website, including IP address, browser and device information, User Agent, date and time of submission, and other technical data.

2.3. Subject to the visitor's consent given through the cookie banner, the Website uses the Yandex Metrica web analytics service (operated by YANDEX LLC) to collect aggregated, anonymized statistics about site traffic — such as pages viewed, referral source, approximate geographic region, and device and browser type. Session recording ("Webvisor") is not enabled. The analytics script is not loaded until the visitor accepts analytics cookies; the visitor may decline. Data collected through Yandex Metrica is processed on Yandex infrastructure located within the Russian Federation.

2.4. The Operator does not intentionally collect or process special categories of personal data, including information about health, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, intimate life, or biometric personal data.

3. Purposes of Processing

Personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

  • receiving and reviewing portfolio submissions;
  • contacting applicants regarding their submissions;
  • evaluating portfolios for inclusion in foliodeck;
  • managing portfolio submissions;
  • publishing selected information where the user has separately consented to public disclosure;
  • maintaining the security and proper operation of the Website;
  • complying with applicable laws of the Russian Federation.

Submission of a portfolio does not guarantee publication on foliodeck. The Operator independently decides which portfolios are selected for publication.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

The Operator processes personal data on the basis of:

  • Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data”;
  • the user's consent to personal data processing;
  • the user's separate consent to the processing of personal data permitted for public disclosure, where applicable;
  • other legal grounds provided by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

5. Personal Data Processing

The Operator may perform the following operations with personal data:

collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification, updating, modification, retrieval, use, provision of access where necessary for technical operation, blocking, deletion, and destruction.

Personal data may be processed using automated means or without automation.

Public disclosure of personal data is carried out only in relation to information for which the user has provided separate consent.

6. Portfolio Publication

If a portfolio is selected, the following personal data may be publicly displayed on foliodeck:

  • name;
  • professional specialization;
  • portfolio URL.

The user's email address and Telegram or LinkedIn contact information collected for communication purposes are not publicly displayed.

The specific personal data permitted for public disclosure is determined by the user's separate Consent to Public Disclosure of Personal Data.

7. Storage Period

Personal data is processed until the purposes of processing have been achieved or until the relevant consent is withdrawn, unless continued processing is required or permitted by applicable law.

Personal data relating to rejected or unpublished submissions may be stored for up to one year from the date of submission, after which it must be deleted or anonymized unless another lawful basis for continued processing exists.

Data relating to published portfolios may be processed for as long as the portfolio remains published on foliodeck or until the user requests its removal.

8. Storage and Third-Party Access

Personal data submitted through the Website is stored in a database located within the Russian Federation.

The Website may use third-party infrastructure and service providers where necessary for hosting, database operation, security, and technical maintenance.

Telegram may be used to notify the Operator that a new portfolio submission has been received. Personal data contained in the portfolio submission is not intended to be stored in Telegram as the primary database.

The Operator takes reasonable measures to limit third-party access to personal data and provides access only where necessary for the operation of the Website or compliance with applicable law.

Personal data may also be provided to Russian state authorities where required by law.

9. Localization of Personal Data

When collecting personal data of citizens of the Russian Federation through the Internet, the Operator ensures that recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification, and retrieval of such personal data are performed using databases located within the Russian Federation, where required by applicable law.

10. Cookies

The Website uses technically necessary cookies to ensure proper operation and functionality.

Subject to the visitor's consent, the Website uses analytics cookies set by the Yandex Metrica service for anonymized traffic statistics (see clause 2.3). On the first visit the Website shows a cookie banner allowing the visitor to accept or decline analytics cookies; the choice is stored locally in the browser and can be changed by clearing the Website's site data. If analytics cookies are declined, the Yandex Metrica script is not loaded.

If other analytics or tracking technologies are introduced in the future, this Policy must be updated accordingly.

Users may also restrict or disable cookies through their browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Website functionality.

11. Personal Data Protection

The Operator takes appropriate legal, organizational, and technical measures to protect personal data against unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, modification, blocking, copying, disclosure, distribution, and other unlawful actions.

Access to personal data is limited to persons who require it for legitimate operational purposes.

Administrative access to portfolio submissions must be protected by authentication.

12. User Rights

Users have the right to:

  • obtain information about the processing of their personal data;
  • request correction or updating of their personal data;
  • request blocking or deletion of personal data where provided by law;
  • withdraw consent to personal data processing;
  • request removal of their portfolio from foliodeck;
  • request termination of public disclosure of their personal data;
  • file a complaint with the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor) or seek judicial protection where they believe their rights have been violated.

13. Withdrawal of Consent and Portfolio Removal

A user may withdraw consent, request deletion of personal data, request removal of a portfolio, or request termination of public disclosure by contacting:

The request should contain sufficient information to identify the user and, where applicable, the relevant portfolio.

The Operator will process such requests within the time limits established by applicable Russian law.

14. Changes to This Policy

The Operator may update this Policy in response to changes in legislation, Website functionality, or personal data processing practices.

The current version of this Policy is always available at:

The updated Policy becomes effective upon publication unless otherwise specified.
